    Also the express lanes on tolls, can you be charged for these in a rented car?

    According to my car rental company you will be charged at the tolls.

    I am trying to find some info on what to do in the rain in the Algarve as the forecast for next week is not good. :eek:

    i havnt been there since December but i remember its a nightmare, hours of waiting to pay tolls in the post office. Maybe hire company will give you electronic boxes and you can organise it with them, either way I would take they back roads! Grab yourself a map or print one off the net.
    What to do if the weathers bad? Hit the pub! Or go surfing :) Im goin on monday and thats my plan
