First time to ever see a Fox during the day, but not where you want to see it - right in the Partridge/Lapwing nesting area.

Had two pair of Buzzards tumbling and diving about today, they looked more like Lapwing!

Also male and female HH, and a hunting Merlin - great stuff!

I was a lot closer at one point, I was just about to climb over an old stone wall on my way back home after a long stroll on Sunday morning, when this little fella comes running along the top of the wall, it did not see me until it was at arms length from me.
But then it turned and ran back the way it came, dam it I thought missed a good photo there, heard something on the ground and there it was at my feet .
