A few "odd" insurance question

    Is it possible to get limited use cover? eg for miles or weekend or times during the day?I know theres the 5,000 - 10,000 km question they ask you but I wouldn't even do 2,500 Id say in a year. Definitely not now with the "baby car"

    Also what would the "most insurable" cars be? Possibly Vectras or Focus saloons and the like?

    Just asking 'cause with the baby seat fixed to one car and that being used most, I just need a run about for myself.

    a.) Yes, but AFAIK only for classics.

    b.) Apart from the above i'd imagine 1.0 cars, ie Micras, Polos etc.

    Im not sure what you mean by "most insurable". Pretty much anything is insurable provided you are not look 21 and looking to insure a 200bhp+ JDM import!

    The limited mileage cover is an interesting question. Ive never seen anyone offer such a thing (outside of classic car insurance) but it would worth having a ring around and have a Google and see what you can turn up.

    Ya its from the classic cars I'm thinking about limited mileage. I only use it really for driving to training and matches. I suppose a classic Polo would be the way to go!:D

    By most insurable I meant cheapest. Which cars do insurance companies not load on just because it's that type of car. I'm 28 by the way so still in the bracket where I might be considered dangerous I suppose?

    There actually is a Polo Classic, but it's not a classic..

    Keep it under a 1.6 and nothing too sporty or out or the ordinary and you should be fine (think bog standard Focus as a reference point!).
