Driving License Renewal Turnaround

    My full driving license is due for renewal. I'll be doing it in my local office in Mullingar, does anybody know the turnaround or is it a case of them renewing the new license there and then.

    Should get a receipt to keep in your wallet until the new one is issued (5-6 working days)

    I expect they will renew it there and then. That's what happens in Cork anyhow.

    1.5 years ago it took them about 6 weeks in Mayo.

    Got mine back in October/November. I posted it to them and got mine back in 6 working days. North Tipperary.

    Any one i know that applied for it got it about 4/5 days later.....from kilkenny/waterford, its fast enough...
