    Hi,

Am buying a set of 19" vmr wheels for my mk 5 golf 235/35/19. But am considering changing my car for a 320d 05+, would they fit perfectly from the golf to the BMW?

If not won't bother buying them?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Brian

At the risk of sounding all sensible, why would you buy wheels for a car youll probably sell?

Far as I know, golf is 5*112 and the bm is 5*120 so wont fit.

Also the centre bore on the 320d wheel is about 15-20mm bigger than on a golf

Your right I had a set of 19" Alpinas on a 520d and their fitment was 5*120 while the golf is 5*112.

You can get centre fillers to fit around the centre bore.

OP - What roads do you drive on? my rear alloys were both cracked due to poor roads.

Fitting such huge wheels on either car will disimprove just about every aspect of the car (namely suspension dynamics, ride, handling, acceleration and braking).

Each to their own, but I thought the whole point of being a car enthusiast was in driving the car
