What's your solo lamping setup?

    Sick of nobody being around to be my lamp partner, so want to hear about your solo lamping setup?

    A backpack will save you so much hassle.
    Stick the battery in it and the two shoulder straps remove all the weight and you can still put the rifle over your shoulder and also get prone to take a shot. batteries on a single shoulder strap become awkward getting over ditches/under fences when you are trying to bring a rifle too.
    The backpack also comes in handy for callers, ammo, keys and keeps your pockets free.

    I have a scope mounted u-caller 170 that does grand for my shooting ranges but the scope mounted lightforce 170 is a better lamp.

    If you already have a non scope mounted lamp you can keep it and use it for scanning and when you spot something leave it down and use a decent torch like the LED lensor m7r or x7r mounted on the scope to take the shot.

    i will be using a lithium ion battery pack and a scope mounted lightforce (140) the lithium ion will fit into the jacket so it will make a difference in the weight.

    I have a LED LENSER M7R with a small plastic mount that attaches it to the scope . I have got a few red fellas out to 140y 150y but thats its outer limit in my opinion . A buddy of mine got one out at 180 but he had a lot more variable power in his scope . I have heard a few peope saying that your scope quality effects the range of the light also. over all im delighted with it as an individual set up :)
