Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Swords? I have a nine year old Mazda 6 that has given me no problems and is reasonably maintained. Looking for someone who can be trusted to take care of my car and not carry out needless work just to pad the invoice.

    I have used the following:
Charlie Mcgrane - Forrest Road - best of the lot
    work is McGrane's.

    you are joking right?
Friend of mine had a "broken" fan in her Dash.
McGrane offered 80 part and 50 labour for a SECON HAND part.
Just by chance she was in M1 motor centre with my wife picking up her car after service.

The mechanic there spotted the issue righ away...1 minute... a loose connection....

McGrane is at best a chancer...who took a gamble on the wrong person.

The mechanic that fixed it .... M1 Motorcentre Bolrothery
Honoust quick and I cannot fault them on their pricing either.

What McGrane tried to do was presuming (and being partially right) the ignorance on cars by women...and trying to earn a quick buck.

Admin if you have any issue with this post feel free to contact me I or my friend have no problem putting name and contact details to this post
