    yeah, I reckon I will, we always did when I was a kid, pick a horse and then my grandad would go down to the bookies and put a load of Each Way bets on, made it a bit special

    I think I will also. But I hardly ever watch horse racing so I have no idea of what horses are in form etc. My Dad used to love horse racing.

    I think that is one of the beauties of the Grand National

    form isnt always a good predictor of success in the GN, professional gamblers tend to steer clear of it I understand because its so unpredictable, an each way bet (ie for a top 4 placing) on a long odds horse can earn you a few quid, just as much as a form horse to win (cos the odds are shorter)

    Yeah that's true alright. I suppose anything can happen on Grand National day. I guess you have to be shrewd in your betting too.
