Rip the back seats and the parcel shelf out, tint the windows, lay down some plywood ..

    - Voila

You have yourself a little van of some sort. The motor tax office and your insurance company won't recognise it as a van EVER though. (AFAIK)

    Seats out
    Windows out, replace with panels
    Seatbelts out
    Holes welded
    Steel floor

    You then get
    An engineers report
Inspection at the motor tax office
    DOE

    Now you have a van

    Now you have a van
which is a slightly less usefull version of a fiesta car....

Presumably the car is 1.25l? If so, whats the point? The difference in tax between private and commercial is €23 a year. You'd be paying roughly the same tax for the priviledge of having no back seats. If you need the functionality of a van just drop the seats when needed or leave them down. At leats you'll have the option to raise and use them.
