shock absorbers

    looking for some advice on shock absorbers for a Renault laguna2,have looked at Monroe and Quinton hazell(spelling probably wrong) does anyone know which is better or some other quality brand,thanks for any help

    Not much in it, I'd go for the Monroe unless the QH ones were much cheaper :) Quality brands would be Saachs, Boge, Kyb. I dunno who makes the shocks that roll out of the factory on Renaults tbh but someone else will come along and tell us :)

    On a similar topic, who are recommended supplier for break pads (for an E60)?

    I see mister-auto.ie are doing some good prices at the moment on pads from Ferodo, Bosch, ATE, Textar, Valeo..

    Mine is a Laguna 1 and I went for the Monroe "Reflex" ones as these are gas filled. I got them from monroe.co.uk and I can't fault them at all.
