New Full Driving Test Regulations??

Hi

I heard that new regulations relating to the full driving test are being brought in in June??

That it will not be a full driving test but you if you pass you will have to put up R stickers and still have a full licence driver in the car with you and the test itself is changing, you will have to know the primary regions of the area you are doing the test so instead of the instructor giving you directions as to where to go he will just say take me to the church, the train station etc.. also you will have to change a wheel??

Can somebody please advise me if this is true??

As far as I know the 'R' plates are to be introduced in September I think where it shows you are a novice driver and they be up for two years I think after passing the test, you still get the full licence and you don't have to have someone with you when driving as far I am aware. The changing of the driving test I think is to be to you as to the direction to go not up to the tester any more but not sure when that be in place. I am hoping to sit the test sometime in the summer and I haven't been aware of those changes to be in place by June?!

If you talk to your instructor and regularly check the RSA website will give you the most up to date information regarding the driving test.
