Recommend me a head unit

Hi there....

I'm looking for a new head unit to replace the busted stock unit in my 2001 beetle.

Don't want a CD or cassette, just a FM radio, ability to make bluetooth calls, and an aux-in (and maybe a USB in for thumb-drive based music).

If possible I would also like iPhone connectivity and control via USB, or even a2dr Bluetooth streaming from iPhone.

And of course I want it cheap. <100 if possible. I realise I'll need a masking peice so the unit is flush with the dash.

Unless you are looking to up your budget significantly ( http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_11101_catalogId_15551_productId_853667_langId_-1_categoryId_212600 ) I'd be inclined to go for a budget jobbie with cd player! pioneer also do a head unit without cd player but you will be paying more than the Parrot!!!

Not sure what they are like as a brand but ticks all your boxes except the cd player

Not sure why you linked that when Halfords sell the quite good (if annoyingly blue-LED'ed) Sony XPLOD units that do every single feature the op mentioned (including BT audio and Calls) at well under half that price.

Op stated he didn't want a cd player. I was just making him aware that there are head units out there as per his requirements but he would have to raise the budget.

As for the other links posted, I searched for Bluetooth on the Halfords website and pasted the head units that were within the €100 budget - and Sony was not one of them

Decided to go for the JVC- KDX50BT.

80+vat plus about 20+vat installation (including blanking plate) by a well recommended place here on the IOM.

Thanks for the advice all.
