High Speed FTP Upload Service in Munster

    I don't know if this is the right forum but we do a lot of video work for foreign companies and usually give them external hard drives with the footage. But sometimes there's a panic and they need footage quick and they lost the hard drives or something. Raw HD Footage can be around 20gb so using our eircom broadband to upload at 90kilobytes/second won't cut it in time.

    Is there anywhere in Ireland or around Munster with providing a quick upload service, at least 100m/bit upload so probably a web host or something.

    Your options are fairly limited in Munster. The best one is probably to rent some colo space from CIX in Cork.

    You could drive over, plug the external hard drive into your server and let them FTP the files over.

    Where are you in Munster? I'm sure there's a wireless operator in the area that could give you a dedicated connection.
