    I'm surprised that this has got little, if any coverage here, but I've been following Lotus and the 'plans' Danny Bahr has for the company, and all I can say is 'I told you so'.

    Lotus were trying to do the impossible, between something more upmarket than the Evora, brining back the Esprit, some city car as well I believe, and I've forgotten the rest of it.

    They were also in the process of dumping Toyota as their engine supplier and designing their own modular range of four, six and eight cylinder engines as well, which I also thought was a bit mad.

    They should just concentrate on chassis and suspension specialisation and when they have built themselves up sufficiently go back into car's
