Do people know the handiest/cheapest/fastest way to get from Dublin to Strasbourg (Planes, trains, buses etc.)?

Shall be relocating there soon enough so it will come in handy to know.

Aer Lingus fly to Stuttgart, UBahn into city and you can get TGV from there into Strasbourg.

Shame Ryanair dropped Baden Baden from their routes. Its only 25 mins from there to Strasbourg. Its a beautiful city.

another even simpler way is to fly to Charles De Gaulle and take the TGV from there (sometimes called Roissy airport TGV in France to confuse the foreigners) straight to Strasbourg.
The direct trains don't run all that regularly but reasonable enough deals can be gotten WELL in advance all right, 25 euro each way is available with enough notice.
