I'm having trouble setting up a new PSN ID. I used a site called: search.psn-id.com to scan available usernames. I'm looking to get the ID ShufflesPSN and according to that site, it's available but when I try it in the account setup I'm told to choose something else. Any reasons why?

I might just keep my existing PSN ID but I have a few questions:

- I logged into my account on my iPod and it says I havn't completed my profile (avatar, About Me etc). Can I do this from my iPod or do I need to log in from my PS3? I'm in NZ and my PS3 is back in IRL.

This is the message I get when I log in on my iPod:

"You have not completed setting up your PlayStation profile. To setup your Avatar and About Me information, please log in to PlayStation Network account management on your PS3"

I'm getting a Vita over here soon so I want everything setup properly for it. Also, can I change the email in my account? I'm thinking of setting up a dedicated PSN email address.

I've one or two questions about my PSN account and the PSN iOS app that I need help with:

When I login to the app on my iPod my profile displays this random avatar (I think it's a default setting). Can I change it on my iPod to something else or do I need to do that from my PS3?

Secondly, I recently changed my PSN email address but for some reason I keep getting Playstation emails to the old address. How do I fix this? The new address is definitely in place as I use it to login on the iOS app.

First: You cannot change your avatar in the iOS app or on the website, you will need a PS3 to complete that.

Second: I'm not quite sure why it's doing that, is there a chance after changing your address to a new one, you or someone else created another PSN account using the old email address? Otherwise it may be newsletters that are going to that address as thats the address they were registered to send to .

good luck with the first motorstorm as they've taken the multiplayer servers offline now which is a pity as it was a great ps3 launch game,
