RIP Barney McKenna

    Barney, the last of the original Dubliners, died today at the age of 72.

    He finally went to Fiddlers Green.

    RIP, end of an era. :(

    them 4 lads now deserve a statue in dublin!! if phill gets one for dying young and maken a few tracks to compared to what the dubliners did

    someone needs to start a petion or whatever its called to get a statue for the dublins made!!!

    good idea. there is a statue of phil lynott outside bruxelles so why not a dubliners statue outside o donohues

    RIP barney, Funeral tomorrow in Trim co meath.





    My parents where very good friends of the Dubliners and all that crowd,Remember going to the embankment in tallaght,grogans,Bremar rooms,When my father passed away in 06,There was a fair few of them at the funeral including barney. Ireland & Dublin have lost a gent of a man.
