Cleaned the inside of a friends car yesterday and it come up nice apart from front seat that had a chip pan on it that spilt onto seat and was left and dried in.
I used flash APC which started to lift it but not very well,is there any cleaning product out there that might work?

Try washing powder and water, start with a small amount.

I wonder would steam cleaning help dissolve the stains and remove them? Read up on steam cleaning and see if it would be of help.

I doubt you will have much success in getting it right but you will need a degreaser and wet vac of some sort.

Depending on the seats of course, test a small area first and go from there but might be cheaper getting one from a breakers yard :(

Off topic: why was there a dirty chip pan on the front seat of a car?

On topic: if you are sticking to things around the house then washing liquid and water, or maybe vanish or another stain remover if you have any.

But i think a dedicated spray or foam and then a wet/dry vac is probably the best option if you have no luck with household products.
