Tablet with certain characteristics

Hi there!

Im planning on buying a tablet but no ordinary tablet because I work on a building site and will be using it on it alot. I was hoping someone could help me find one or where i can find them?

SO..

it will need to be able to get really wet and not malfunction. i.e. so have a v. good resistant to water
get hit with tools and other heavy items on its screen but not crack OR scratch
have a long days work battery life (without recharging)
have wifi capability
Cheapness would be appreciated but i understand what im asking for is not run of the mill.

Could anyone recommend a tablet? Or a website?

Or is there a tech-king here I could ask afew questions to? Id really appreciate it.

All I can suggest is a tablet of your choice plus an otterbox case. But these wont be that water resistant. Otherwise I think you're out of luck:

Some quick Googling reveals a Panasonic Toughpad A1

Looks like it's water/dust resistant (i.e. small splashes of water, small amounts of dust).

According to this article, you're looking at €850 - €999. Those are just estimates, and you should get a quote for one.

Hey again! Didnt know whether to start a new thread!

Best option for me, price and durability, seems as cookie said a cheap tablet but with a protective cover.

So Ive narrowed down which tablets would be best value for me (battery life most important >10hrs with wifi, ability for apps and a good screen size). I was wondering if people may have heard of these tablets? And can help me weed out?

The scroll extreme - seems good to me with that price? Best of the lot id say but more pricey.

I did a fair bit of research into these so i hope i havent just found duds. Unfortunately i ony know a little about computers so I dont know what the inside story is with these. Im also planning on buying +10 of these for my company so i need not to mess up.

cookie the tablets need to be able to play app games like angry birds etc? And does browsing the internet require a lot of ram?

Literally all they will be used for is games (flash, not off cd's), and browsing the internet?

What do you think? 512mb ram too little for my needs?

And wifi is essential, is "IEEE 802.11b/g/n" that any use?
