    Is it possible to get these things new without going through the main dealer network?

    I'd imagine anything from a breakers would be fairly ropey by this stage also.

    They wouldn't be the sort of part that would be available spurious. Dealer or second hand are the only real choices IMO.

    It should be easy to get a perfectly usable part from a breakers yard.
