I am writing about the findings from an interview for undergraduate research.

Have found myself writing... "Mr X made the point that xxxx" and a few sentences later I also say "Mr X also made the point that xxx" ....

I`m looking for a few different ways of saying "made the point"

    Thanks

said, made clear, argued, claimed, suggested, made clear, put the case.

    I feel like a thesaurus.

Edit: I seem to be a big believer in making things clear.

    Proposed that...
    Proposed the view.
    Asserted.
    Stated.

    Cheers for the suggestions.

It sure is better than having "made the point" about 30 times in 4 pages.
