Another new car advice thread

Hi Guys,
I currently have a 03 van and am considering changing to a car for family reasons.I dont do much milage at the mo but hopfully will be changing jobs and will be doing about 15-25000 miles when i start.I really want to get an estate as the change over from a van to a car would not be as severe and i would be able to let down the seats as needs be.I have my eye on the 307 sw se.I like the look and the spec seems o.k.I am thinking of buying in england and bringing it back here.Rough price guide i guess would be €8000 and im hoping the sale of my van will cover the vrt.Any other suggestions would be great???

Do you want a seven seater as fairly sure a 307 sw is anyway a kia ceed good car and the earlyist cars still have a few years warranty left

Look possible at a volvo v50. Volvos are always known for the best estates, the best seats and a good spec. The 1.6l diesel in a vovlo is the same engine as the Peugeot, but the volvo comes with far better spec. And both cars are around the same size

Just looking on carzone there are a models for sale for around 10k which would be the amount you'd be spending in total i.e 8k + VRT.

It should be easy enough to get a good 1.6l diesel one in england from around 2007

+1 on the Kia aswell, especially where warranty is concerned

Be care full with the electric's of them Peugeots. I can only speak from experience with a 407, it has had too many electrical issues since we got it to list here.

Any advice??:D
