new tyres

    Just got two new tyres, two more to get next week. I got two firestone on the front should i get firestone on that back again? Reason i ask is because you see a lot of cars with pirelli on the front and goodyear on the back etc..

    Whats the thinking behind this and should i go for something diff on the back? :)

    I'd imagine it's because people generally change two at a time, either the front two or the back two and end up buying different tyres because they can't get the same ones. I wouldn't think it's a fashion statement. ;) Get the same all round if you can.
