Learner Permit query

Ok i cant remember how long ago i sat the theory test, i know i lost a licence and applied for a new one and lost that too... actually getting the finger out now, just wondering whats the time period that the licence can expire til until i need start over again? Or is there anywhere I can check the status of the licence…

Or is there anywhere I can check the status of the licence before I apply for a replacement, if I ring the motor office would they be able to inform me on it?

5 years for theory test
2 years for Learner Permit (or 1 year in certain cases)

The MTO should have the details as you will have the same ID number for each permit/licence issued.
