Wobbly? That would have to be one hell of an uneven surface! They're not a table that you have to wedge folded up beermats under to keep it steady.
Nevertheless, I shall be watching this with interest, the argument about too many variables, angle and bend of the road, angle of the van, level of the road and the van, etc... would be interesting.
I'm sure all that has been taken into account when setting up those vans and every excuse has already been used in every court all over the world, at least it sounds like an interesting case.
