    Probably over €3500 if it's a well specced one masquerading as a GT TDi or whatever they masquerade as :)

    If it's a boggo ish normal one you should still see close to €3000/€2800 I'd say.

    I think you were unlucky with your 1.9 VW product John, loads and loads of them give next to no trouble, when I worked in Galway one of the lads had a 150bhp 2002/2003 one from when it was a year or so old, was only talking to him last weekend and it's still flawless.

    And of course yours saw plenty of garage time before the sh1t hit the fan too

    TBH I know but still licking my wounds after dropping a couple of grand

    As said it's just my opinion of them
