    Hello,

I am getting the wagon serviced next week and although she is no race car I was wondering what the opinion of you guys would be on replacing worn components like roll bar bushes with polyurethane ones.

I saw them on Wheeler Dealers, no idea if they are any good or not but if they should last a hell of a lot longer then standard rubber I would consider putting them in.

    Thanks,
    bbk

    EDIT:
Year 2000 Mark 4 Golf Estate diesel.

    What car is it?

We fit a lot of Powerflex poly bushes. Powerflex are excellent quality and a good fit. The cheaper brands can be hit and miss. Some customers get them fitted as a performance upgrade and in other cases we fit them in place of standard parts where the standard part has a known wear issue, for example Mondeo Mk3 rear subframe bushes.

I don't want to hijack the thread or anything but I'm changing the wishbone bushes on my e46 320 fairly soon and was gonna replace them with poly bushes.
Does anybody know who might stock them?

How about front shock mounts? I got these changed last year or the year before, non OEM, and now one needs replacing again. Bad quality part and a bit of a dodgy garage? I dunno, but I would love to change these and not need to worry for a long time about them.
