We want to buy a couple of pigs and are having trouble locating any to buy in our region. But just wondering what age piglet should we be looking for?

I typically buy at around 8 weeks old. Make sure they are weaned and eating meal - Find out what type of meal they are eating and get some of it to start off with.

Weaners seem scarse at the moment. We got ours at 10 weeks last year and they did great, killed at 28 weeks at ~75kg each.

That is the thing we cant seem to find any! We are in Leitrim/Sligo Donegal market and I have searched donedeal, farmers journal and nada.

Anyone else know of anywhere I could look?
