Crack on my windscreen

As it say abouve i have gotton a crack on my windscreen and needs replacing , who would you reccomend i got quoted by autoglass for 200 euro , i taught was a bit much ........... i drive a VW polo year is 99 and i 5 door

Do you have windscreen cover on your insurance policy? If you do, tell them a rock hit it.

I think €200 from Autoglass to supply and fit ain't too bad.

You could try ring around others, make sure you tell them it's a cash job with no insurance cover involved, they will usually have a better price when it's a straight cash job.

you save on the call out charge, and yeah cash is king

This is why sometimes it pays to have Fully Comp as opposed to TPFT.
The difference is often less than a windscreen.

crack on your windscreen is not recmended. coccaine is a better bet

It doesn't even have to be Full Comp, windscreen cover can generally be added to even the most basic policy. Also some Full Comp policies still don't include windscreen cover. Depends on the Insurance company really but I do agree it is worth the extra few euro for it.
