Tracking / Alignment on Dublin's Southside

    Hey all,

    So I put my 06 Passat through the NCT last weekend and they've failed it on the tracking - seems a bit odd to me as the car is driving fine and not pulling left/right, but anyway...

    I got a quote from one of those one-stop places in Sandyford for €60 (laser alignment etc etc) but that seems a bit steep to me.. or is it the going rate these days?

    If not, anywhere else in the same area that people would recommend - bearing in mind I don't know the Southside at all.. Northsider here :)

    That's very expensive, I got mine laser aligned and balanced front and back for €30 a few weeks ago.

    It's generally that kind of money, although most places will do it for nothing if you buy a set of tyres from them.

    €60 is easily the going rate for proper wheel alignment.

    @OP, your Passat has front and rear adjustment for toe and rear adjustment for camber so basic €30 front wheel alignment is useless.
