    Hi Guys,

    What's the best website selling new tyres?

    Need a set of 225/50/16 for a BMW and want good quality non ditchfinder tyre.

    Rare occurrence. If it does there's no shortage of tyre fitters anyway.

    Never had an issue getting tyres fitted tbh.

    Used to get humming and hawing. Now it's no bother really. I'll be doing it tomorrow actually, with tyres from camskill. Fortunately I'm on the steel wheels, and the tyres are for my alloys. I'll drop them down in the morning, and give them all day to swap them.

    To answer the actual question; Camskill.co.uk are generally the best - eiretyres.ie can occasionally beat them on price from what I've seen. Having used them both I'd recommend Camskill; more reliable for delivery, eiretyres stock comes from Germany & can take longer.

    Would be worth pricing up your chosen tyre, add 15 each for fitting & then ring around a few local places to see if they come close. They might just surprise you - just don't let them assure you that Linglong SportyMaxxx is the same as Michelin Pilot Sports...;)

    Cheers for the advice... Isn't €15 steep? I normally get them done for €5 a wheel, sometimes less. Although I drop them in and leave them there all day so they can do them in their own time.

    Anyway, Will be going for something quality instead of Chinese ditchfinders.

    Probably but I'm in the big smoke & doing 2 at a time generally rather than 4. The more you can save the better for you - where are you getting yours fitted?

    €15 a corner is normal enough.

    Because your tyres are 16's and more common you might find a resonable rate locally seeing as if you order them online you'll have to pay for fitting.

    Being buying runflat tyres for the last 2 years. Have yet to see camskill or eiretyres beat local suppliers when delivery and fitting costs are taken into account. It's all about shoppping about.
