Valencia at full back, Giggs on the other.

    United are down two wingers.

I was actually thinking during the Fulham game that Young could be a handy LB.

£55 Million bid for Hazard and Javi Martinez...

    Source seems dubious tho.....

I would've guessed it would take closer to £70m to sign them....

Always go into transfer gossip page on BBC everyday, and of all the ones who never seem to get it right caughoffside seem be miles ahead.

However, if this comes to fruit, they can say what they want. Not really seen enough of Hazard, but I be over moon to see Martinez sign for us.

Think Martinez is long shot though, better chance to get Hazard me thinks

Macheda back in Manchester with ankle injury. Out for the season apparently.

Was Macheda's deal one that United could bring him back whenever they wanted? Or could the injury be an excuse to get him out of there? He's been unbelievably unlucky with his loan moves.

This is pretty harsh in places I have to say.

My brother makes the same kind of faces when he's playing ball. Not as bad though.

I'd imagine he's back at United for treatment only as our facilities are much better. Personally I think Macheda needs to move on at the end of the season.

Yep, but I don't think he would be getting the sort of move his ego wants. It's likely the best transfer he will get is to a team with promotion potential in the Championship.

    fell off his ego?

regarding our summer, signing javi martinez would do me just fine and nobody else.

the other signings then depend on whether anybody leaves. if berba leaves, id hope we get about 12 million for him and reinvest that in a new 4th choice striker.

Clyde maybe the defender we need and hopefully jones grows into a decent center back.

Clyde, Martinez and a berba staying would keep me very happy.

For the game time he has got this season, Berbatov is better off going. He is in his prime right now. I see a move back to Germany for him.

What's the point in Berba stayin for another season when we will lose him for free, may as well get the money for him now and shift him off the wages as leaving the poor guy on the bench constantly. Indeed if he is lucky enough to make the bench.

He should concentrate on fixing the moist patch that mysteriously pops up on his chest all the time. Troll.

Can't see Berba staying. He is currently our third striker. A man of that quality and effortlessness class deserves better. 12 million would be nice, I'd expect around 10.

Javi Martinez would be an excellent signing. The way Bilbao are playing at the minute would, in my mind, deter him from moving for now. Hope I am wrong.

Well then his memory is fuckedup. Just days back they got huge favor from Webb against Stoke.

he did a big moan a few weeks back, saying how city were being treated harshly. in in, he mentioned the following -

the non sending off of glen johnson (90th minuted of carling cup first leg)
the sending off of Kompany (Fa Cup)
the sending off of Barry (when they were 3-0 against liverpool)
    the banning of balotelli

he forgot to mention the points united have dropped this season due to officials errors or the fact that if the ref did his job against spurs, Balotelli would not have been on the pitch to win and score the penalty.
