    Hey all

Quick question- is it okay to do driving test in a car van ie. the side back windows are blocked out?

    Thanks!

great thanks! I have asked a few instructors though and they don't seem too keen in me doing the test in it? Any reasons for this? Thanks.

Observation is obviously harder in some ways. But if is what you drive stick with it, so long as everything is legal. I have a several people pass cat B test in vans. Even one guy in a long wheel base transit!

I sat the test in an Opel Vivaro which is a medium sized van. Make sure your instructor covers any van specific things you should do. For example my van had no rear windows so I was told to put down the drivers side window and look back when taking off from the kerb etc..
