iPad 2 availability

    Hey folks,

    Quick question. Very tempted to pickup an iPad2 with the slight drop in price now. Anyone know why online store only sells 16gb versions?

    I'm not sure what the rationale is, it was like that a few days before the new edition launched anyway. Maybe it's availability or they didn't want to give people the full range so as to shift their interest to the new one. Who knows. Maybe try a refurb if you're after more space. That's what I've done.

    Because the other ones have been discontinued. Apple are only keeping the 16GB model around as a cheap low-end alternative to the iPad 3. For the old larger capacity iPad 2 models check the refurb store or see if there is a bricks and mortar shop still selling them (which there should be).

    Just had a text chat through the Apple website and they said the same as SP, the other models have been discontinued.

    Hmmmm... so the question is, hunt around for a 32gb iPad2 or get a 16gb new iPad..
