Does anyone have a top 5 favourite all time United players list without Ole in it?

What a few weeks in store. Fancy ye for the league make no mistake but what I can almost guarantee is that there'll be twists yet. Expect 1 or 2 shock results like 0-0's against lower opposition at home for example. Next Saturday is a big game for ye. Monday is of course too, but I fancy ye to canter to victory against Fulham. Blackburn away though won't be easy. Wigan is the other away game ye have before the Etihad clash. Early on in the season two handy wins, but playing against relegation battlers in their own patch at this stage of the season is never easy. I really don't think ye're run in is as easy as people make it out. Granted I fancy ye for the league even if ye're behind after the Etihad, City have to travel to jameses park never easy. Asking City to go the rest of the season unbeaten (which I feel they have to) is a huge ask and for that reason I fancy ye.

Cantona, Ronaldo, Keane, Robinson, Best... Cantona at top spot thereafter it's in no particular order... would probably have Irwin in at 6th

    Edit: Crouchy you lanky hero!

I cant remember a season in past 20 years where United have gone onto win league, but not slipped up on run in. They will drop points, it's just case of who drops more points now.

I think what is key to rest of season is to get wins when playing below par. United and City wont be 100% for next 8-9 games or so, and its matter of grinding out few key points/wins from them that will decide the title.

Agreed. I'd imagine Utd would be better at grinding out the wins. Wasn't it Boro at home a few years ago which Utd failed to win on their run in which was a setback at the time, but they ultimately won the league? Memory is sketchy. But it goes to show that the top teams can slip up as the pressure comes on

Its hard to leave out so many names, he would not make mine if I had to pick.

    Cole
    Cantona
    Keane
    Scholes
    Vidic

they be my top, but Ole will be forever a legend no matter what to any United fan

yeah meant robbo.. wasn't around for Best but I've seen a fair amount of clips of him and he just looked amazing... I might be over-stating him (or Messi here :D ) but the way hr dribbled through defenses reminds me of Messi... and the goal against Benfica... simply class!

Btw love Ole and think he was a hero, but I just couldn't look past too many others to put him in top 5... I reckon I'd probably have van Nistelrooy ahead of him as well... and probably Vidic!

When I was a kid all I ever wanted to be like was Mark Hughes. My favorite United player of all time.

Anyone remember the FA Cup 3rd game away to Sheff Utd.He lost the ball and then kicked yer man right up the hole in retaliation. I loved him

Mine would be Scholes, Irwin, Ronaldo, Robson and Ole

Though it is tough. Leaving out Schmeichel, Keane and Gibbo was very tough :)

I remember we dropped points to Boro in 07/08 season alright im sure been another.

Actually Boro were team that we dropped points to in the 96/97 season too in 3-3 draw I remember Gary Neville scored same day, was bad 2 points to drop at the time, but hung on to win league with bit to spare in end.

I loved Sparky and would have had him in my top 5 but I just couldn't let him after managing City.. same reason a certain Danish lad isn't in mine either!

    Heres an Interesting stat you:
If the premier league started on January 1st 2012, Liverpool would be bottom of the table

Another interesting stat... since January 1st 2012: 95% of Liverpool fans have claimed next year is THE year.
