    Why not :)

    Kempton 19th March

2.50 No 3 Black Baccara, CD winner, 3rd in Dec 11 off a mark of 71, beaten only 3/4 length in a 0 to 85.

3.20 No 2 Red Shuttle, trip suits nicely.

3.50 No 6 Lisahane Bog, CD winner, drawn well, mark is ok

4.20 No 2 Isdaal, step up to this trip should play to strengths

4.50 No 2 Seek the Fair Land, draw is poor but I still fancy this one to go close

5.20 No 2 Kavalotti, has gone well here more than once over 2m.

    €1 PP and €2 QP :)

From my time in the bookies it seems that the bookies love placepot bets and dislike e/w doubles on short price favourites ~2/1.

No doubt they do like placepot bets :)
I can't see them being afraid of e/w doubles on shorties tbh, place betting at those odds is little risk and lots of reward for them.

Anyway, this is a placepot and quadpot log, nothing else :)
I'll be starting another log in a week or so like the other one I had ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=72851407 ), starting with €100 and doing a bit of everything :)

    Fri 23rd Wolverhampton

Most of my selections are quite short priced for this one, I pick them before looking at the markets so if they're all shorties they're all shorties :)

5.40 No 2 J J Leary CD winner, in good form, consistent too.

6.10 No 1 Russian George, classy sort, trip suits and that's not common to most of the runners in this one.

6.40 No 2 Sudden Wish, poor draw but won lto in determined fashion.

7.10 No 2 Rockgoat HC debutant, won lto too which was the race course debut here, looks a game sort.

7.40 No 5 So Is She, the most unfancied of the lot, drawn well and if in the mood might just sneak in to a place. I don't really fancy anything at all in this but that's placepots for you :)

8.10 No 6 Brenin Taran, another last time out winner fancied in the betting.
    Same stakes as before btw.

    Lingfield Sat 24th March

1.50 No 8 Hefner, AW debut but 10f should suit.

2.25 No 1 Bannock, rated 110, finishes off 6f races very well so 7f should be within range, one previous run over on AW over 5f, put in a decent run, in with a solid shout here I think.

2.55 No 7 Medicean Man, tough one to call, loads with excellent credentials as you'd expect for this, have to throw one in !!

3.25 No 6 Junoob, 4 year old, but CD winner, 4 wins from 6 starts on the AW, won easily lto at Lingfield, like the look of Junoob for this.

4.00 No 5 Kingscroft, never out of the money in 8 AW starts, in decent form at the moment.

4.35 No 4 Forgotten Hero, 7 runner maiden as the last leg, don't like that, hard not to throw in this one though.

    €1pp and €2 qp
