Can he be sanctioned for bringing the office of Taoiseach into disrepute? Assuming he can; if the party who elected him leader and also Taoiseach sanction him, surely the state must follow suit. Strip him of his pensions and entitlements.

Absolutely. Not sure on bringing the office into disrepute, don't think there's such a charge here, will check now. But there has to be a way - it won't be easy, but the public need to make it clear that we demand it.

Eamon Ryan's on Vincent Browne now trying to say it was all the public's fault and Fianna Fáil were the party trying to fix all of it. Desperate stuff, they're fcked, I seriously think they might be done.

I think it is quite hypocritical of mehole considering he himself took payments from Owen O'Callaghan back in the 1990's which somehow ended up in his wifes bank account! I think corruption and gombeen stupidity is a prerequisite for people who both vote and are members of the Fianna Fail party.

The people of this country are equally as bad for not demanding proper investigations that will lead to
a) pensions frozen
b)assets seized
c) proper punishment for his crime

In addition, these tribunials have no staning in court. The tribunial could decide no way or the other that Bertie was guilty of anything, only that his testomony was inconsistant, yet he still wants to fight the verdict. He's actually got away quite lightly.

Its seems these people are untouchable or uncountable for anything, and the ordinary joe soap are continuing to be stung.

If you think I'm Sinn Fein your off your rocker, however SF have more credibility than Fianna Fail anyday. What have FF ever done for Ireland except Bankrupt it several times, allow Rome rule until the 1990's and steal billions whilst condemning millions of people and entire generations to the boat and plane to fling them to the far corners of the globe.

Fianna Fail have been a more destructive and negative force in Ireland than British Rule and if the boys of 1916 could have been brought forward and see what was done to our country and what was done with our "Independence" then they'd have decided not to bother I imagine. FF are a cancer on Irish society for far too long and they alongside the Catholic Church need to be eradicated rather quickly.

Both SF and FF are awful in their own unique way. Both parties eroded the quality of life on this Island in their own idiosyncratic manner.

One eroded quality of life yes, however the other fought for the rights of an oppressed minority and made life in Northern Ireland much better for all today. To say say Sinn Fein are somehow as bad as Fianna Fail! :rolleyes:
