Just wondering if anyone does the above commute, or if they have any tips to make it slightly more bearable.

I know a few people who do it. I considered doing it myself a few years ago but decided that I really don't want to have to make that return journey to Heuston (and then onwards to St. Stephens Green) five days per week.

Thanks for replying, yeah i will have a slightly further commute. I have to make my way to the top of Harcourt street. Do your friends get the train? Im thinking about getting the 730 approx train and being showered and at my desk for 930.

Would anyone know if this train is full when it gets to athlone?

Also i think ill be getting an ipad and a foldable bike.
