I should watch this but I'm afraid I'll end up throwing something at the TV. :pac:

I'm just preparing my Atheist Ireland 4 World Domination twitter account now, so I can catch Michael Nugent off guard with a scandalous and revelatory bogus tweet.

Im afraid that this will turn into what happened a while back on the Late Late Show ****e.

Someone will come out with some crazy opinion. "Anyone who isn't Catholic is bad", and everyone will clap. I then realsie how f**ked up Ireland is and break down and cry. :(

I like living in my own happy little world. I'll still watch it though...

Sounds like the equivalent of watching The Big Questions on a Sunday morning :pac:

I may see if I can get a glimpse of this on RTÉ Player.

It comes down this : keeping my faith in humanity or having it shattered by watching moronic comments about evil secular strawmen. I think I'll choose bliss on this one and give it a miss.

I'll watch it just so I know my anger at people who oppose secularism is justified and to confirm that I'm on the right side of the fence.

I just know this will be perfect for a game of backwards-Ireland bingo. I have no doubt that "Catholic country" and "part of who we are" will feature. Any other suggestions are welcome.

It's neither a truth nor a lie if I remain ignorant towards it. :p

Does anyone know who will be on the panel?

PLEASE tell the Iona 'Institute' won't be wheeled out again!

The format doesn't allow for proper discussion so I'll give it a miss.

Exactly. Majority rules and sadly the majority are idiots.

"If they want athiest schools they should set up their own"
    "Stop discriminating against Catholics"
"People have a right to educate their Children in a Catholic run school"
"If the government stop funding Catholic run schools, that's discrimination"

This stuff writes itself. The more I think about it I think I'll avoid watching it.

"Ireland is becoming a very dangerous place to be Catholic"
"Creeping secularism is not in keeping with how Irish people want to live"
"Morals and ethics and sins, oh my, how ever will people behave themselves if there's no big deity waiting to catch them out"
"The church educated our children and provided health and social care when the State couldn't afford it".

I do like watching the sound men running up and down the stairs so that they can catch the rubbish on mic. :)

Shall be watching... Will be ready to send in texts and stuff to provide some balance to the expected idiocy :)

Had planned on playing Mass Effect 3 tonight, but I'll give this a chance. Glad I spotted the thread now. If it's horribly unbalanced in the first 15 minutes I'm gone however.

Daughter is in an educate together school btw and it's absolutely brilliant :)

if there isn't a representative from the church ie bishop o'reilly and the goverment ie minister quinn, then the program is pointless

I do hope Michael Nugent is on the panel and not stuck in the audience, limited to 60 seconds of air time.

    Anyway, who brought the popcorn?

F*ckin Iona Institute clown is on.

Mick Nugent is in the crowd. Ivana Bacik is the token atheist.

Quinn and Bacik, I'm glad I just followed the thread and not the programme. C'mon Arsenal. :D
