    Windows Commander
    yay, i'm not alone.
it's been renamed to total commander now for some reason.
it works nicely with winrar 3...

    other than that i use

    winamp
    nero
    sound forge 6.0
    clone cd
cdrwin (i use clone cd instead of it 99% of the time)

    - opera internet browser (extremely fast browser with small memory usage)
    - winrar & winzip
    - AVG (free anti virus protection - pretty good, www.grisoft.com)
    - zone alarm pro
    - winamp
    - notepad (possibly the most handy little prohram)

One of the pieces of software I find most useful is an open source tabbed notebook called KeyNote available from http://www.tranglos.com/free/index.html Each tab can contain numerous note trees. Great for storing everything from scraps of information to drafts of long documents in one file.

And today I would like to add vim to the above list. I heartily recommend it's use for all your html editing needs.
