    Brand New Free Office and Productivity Suite from IBM:

    IBM has released v3.0.1 of Lotus Symphony Office Productivity Suite for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, etc for free. Based on OpenOffice.org's work it's an "all-in-one" office suite, and can exchange documents with MS Office, NeoOffice, etc via the ISO document standards and enables office document sharing in heterogenous computing environments. (I made that up, but it's true and sounds good IMHO !!)

    The download is fairly hefty so hopefully bandwidth is not a problem for eager-beaver downloaders.
