    Anyone know why someone would opt for clearcoat delete?

    The only thing I can think of is that the colour is slightly blue and it doens't show swirl marks as bad as lacquered paint (doesn't appear to anyway).

    Seems to be quite a common thing with black BMW's, mine's the same. No idea why either though

    DB9 is it? Fabulous car and good luck with it. One of the lads in work drove one before, he got 90mph in second gear!
