Max 6990's I can put in MB

    Hi,
    Given that the pci-e slots can draw 75 watts and the ATX connector is capable of just 150 watts to the board, can you run 3x6990's (draw of 1125 watts) on a corsair 1200w psu safely?

    The motherboard is an MSI 890 FXA GD70.

    AFAIK the 6990 has only one crossfire connector, so max you can xfire is two. The 6990's are dual GPU cards, so thats four total-the max xfire supports.
