current caller: "[truck drivers] are the most experienced drivers on the road, Joe... apart from taxi drivers, reps, and people who do a lot of driving, you know?"

He had me up until that point... ;)

    Joe hates the private sector

hardly surprising, private sector would not employ him.

he has always sucked on the taxpayers tit

The best :rolleyes:cyclists are the ones who use the dublin bike scheme, you know its donkeys since they've been on a bike as they fly through junctions, up the road the wrong way and on the paths. They are nuts!

I'm always shocked how little of the users of the Dublin Bike Scheme wear helmets, and I'm especially shocked (but thankful) we haven't had some fatalities yet. Fingers crossed.

    For what exactly?

reckless driving, by the cyclists 1st description he changed lanes + the trailer went into a lane further - so he did it too fast..

-- assuming this is true, he should lose the lic.

    Whats he hoping to achieve?

Why take the cyclists word? We have no way of knowing what really happened.

Besides there are dozens of incidents like this everyday. Banning someone from driving for them would be pointless and the "victims" dont phone liveline

I just wish Michael D'Unbelievable Trucker had said "taken me from behind" instead of "come up alongside me", would have give Joe the chance to use some of his world-famous puns.

That cyclist neil should go down there to the O2.

The place is swamped with trucks heading for the ferries to england. He'd have a hard on for a month
