    Going to generalise here, but I think the reason women are perceived not to watch as much hardcore porn as men is because quite frankly, there's a dearth of quality out there.

    Sure's there's a million times more stuff out there than there was 10 years ago, only problem is sorting the wheat from the chaff has become a lot more difficult.

    Amateur porn = pros with handheld cameras - concentrating on camera and not on each other. Hint: It's not amateur if you have a cameraman.
    Lesbian porn = straight pros with long fingernails and stillettos (and there MUST be some sort of phallus in the scene - plastic or otherwise)

    Well watching a guy giving oral to a woman (or watching a woman masturbate) would be stimulating for me, even though you could argue it's not targeted at me or men in particular.

    I suppose I would limit my experience to watching a few videos my boyfriend had, and browsing through redtube/youporn, and all of the videos were really unappealing to me.

    They are not general porn, they are porn specifically targeted to males. This has been noted by alot of other people.
