My room mate last year was doing it while I was in college in Galway. Even early on in the year there seemed to be a lot of work and study involved, but he really enjoyed it and still does. It's a small class so they're all really close and I think they all seem to enjoy it.

    Hey,
I am studying podiatry at NUIG. Its a great course. I would suggest you call the department and arrange a day shadowing with the us in the clinic at Merlin Park Hospital. That way you will get a chance to shadow the clinical element of what potiatrists do while training and also to have any questions you may have, answered. This is important I think for any course that students feel they wish to pursue.

The telephone number is available on the NUIG podiatry page, alternatively you could just email them and ask if it would be possible to shadow for a few hours or a day. There has been a couple of students shadowing already this year. The Department will be happy to help.
