    Got a guitar recently as a present, anyone know where to get a basic cheap guitar stand?

    I got mine in GoodWins in Capel St. Was around 15 quid if I remember well...
    But there are other shops where you can get a cheap and basic one, like Waltons in Great Georges Street or Music Maker in Exchequer Street.

    If you value your guitar, don't skimp on a guitar stand. And if your guitar is nitrocellulose finished (like gibsons) then check if stand is suitable for these finishes.
