    Hi All,

    Im posting my L4D2 server, if you want to play.
    Currently it is in Survival Mode.

    Open your L4d2 game, open your console (by pressing ~ usually), and type:
    connect 83.142.49.10:28012     ; your in!

    This is a modded server:
    Super Tanks
    Lightning smoker strikes
    Tanks throws boomer, spitter, witch (instead of rocks)
    etc..

    maximum 10 players :)

    To answer your question. Yes both servers are based in the United States of America. Both of them are Public servers. I own both servers and I reside here in Cork Ireland. As you might know, there are no public server providers based in Ireland. Public servers are availible in four countries in Europe ie Great Britain, France, Netherlands And Germany. My choice is the USA for one Reason, Less Lag ingame.

    Players from every part of the world play on our servers and enjoy the experience.

    Cool, but can you tell me how there is less lag on a server at a further distance ?..surely a UK server would have less lag for people in Ireland ?

    Less Lag because I am the host for both servers. Deploy on our servers and you will see what I mean. We have over 200 Coop maps for you to enjoy. All free of charge.

    You need to look harder, there are loads of datacenters in Ireland, Amazon has a big in-your-face datacenter in Ireland, and from what I gather is the only Amazon datacenter in Europe. You can get a VPS from them (although pricey).

    If you look around you will find plenty of colo and dedicated servers in Ireland. They will be a bit more expensive than USA though.

    Anyways, back on topic.

    Gameservers are my server providers. They also give you 24/7 back up and assistance. Also I run and maintain both servers from Ireland. "Whats the big deal about this" We have players from all over the world. We have 30 clan members from all over Europe,USA ect.

    Reason why I posted on Boards.ie was to inform Irish players that there is a Americas Army 2-3 servers maintained and Deployed from Ireland. If there is a problem with this, it does not bother me one way or another. SF-Operations servers are active and Maintained from Cork, Ireland and has been for the past three years, and will so into the Future.
