Ben, I can be on late tonight if you are about later. I'm not sure what my plans are for the rest of the week.

Anyone else getting odd ratings? My player management screen displays different over rating to what my depth chart does for the same player in the same position

Yeah I dont really get it. I signed a TE from FA and he was 71. In my depth chart he is 65.

Yep having the same problem, the ratings on the LM dont reflect xbox

Unfortunately I'm not in my own home for the rest of the night so can't get at the Xbox. 11:30 start or later onnthursday I can do if it suits. I'm also about Friday 1-4 for a start if that suits. And could get on during the day and early evening on Saturday.

Same, depth chart is lower the player management

My starting HB is three points lower, not huge but not good at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,957 ✭✭✭Raoul

The 71 rating for the TE was on xbox, so I think its the depth chart is wrong. But I think that is the ratings that are used ingame so they are the most important.

Adro, you interested in Cotchery? Have a look at my trade block and see what you could muster up to trade if you want him.

Ok, so I can sort something for a DT (Gibson OVR 76) but we would need to add more players to even it up for you.

I also have a TE Kleinsasser 75 which you have listed as a need also. Would either of those be of interest?

depth chart showing wrong values for most positions for me too (looks like last season's ratings) except in the 3rd Down Half Back chart for some reason.

Draft was a bit of a bust for me, did nothing to improve my team. Tough schedule this season too, 12 games against human opposition!

    Browns @ Steelers:

First play of the 2012 nfl season and the Steelers return the kickoff for six....

Browns are driving well down the field with new tandem of Dalton and Starks at the helm before a bit of miscommunication screws up a third down attempt. Feeley is good on 41yards
    7-3 PITT

The Cleveland defence show that it is business as usual, picking off David Garrard on the very next play.
And then a few plays later, the same thing happens to Dalton.
Pittsbutgh are looking deep and I change player to a different D-Lineman, only to find the game has changed me to a CB and they throw deep to the now open man and score
    14-3 PITT

End of 1st Quarter: 14-3 PITT

Browns go three and out on their next possession but rookie CB Calouhn, acquired from the Bengals second round pick, chases the punt and downs it at the 5 yard line.
And then....IT'S PICKED OFFFFFFFF!!!!!! AND RETURNED FOR 6!!!!! Feely is good on the xp.
    14-10 PITT

Pittsburgh punt it away, then Dalton gets hit hard by some bollox of a defensive end and fumbles it with some other bollox picking it up taking it for six.
But the booth reviews it and it is reversed and the browns get to punt it away with 1:39 left in the half. Then get flagged on a bull**** fair catch interference call. The recieving team pushed my guy into the catcher......
The extra yardage doesn't help pittsburgh though, as they miss a 38 yard kick.

Shockey then catches a ball in triple coverage that bounced of all 3 defenders and himself and picked up some yards after the catch.
Then a catch in the corner of the endzone by Dexter McCluster when the pylon pretty much kept his feet goes to the booth and after some tea and biccies deliberation, the ref tells us that "After review, the ruling stands as called." Touchdown Cleveland. Feeley is good.. 17-14 CLE

    Pittsburgh punt it away.
    Cleveland punt it away.
Then with the Black and Gold knocking on the goaline, Rookie linebacker Reggie Cooper steps up and hammers Garrard knocking the ball loose. Usama Young recovers the ball and goes 90 yards taunting Garrard to try and tackle him for a touchdown. Feeley good on XP. 24-14.
End of 3rd Quarter: 24-14 CLE

Then poor auld Garrard throws a pick on his next snap, but the Browns have to punt it away.
Pittsburgh is driving well and then the Browns get their fourth pick of the day. Bethea with the honours.
    *Two minute warning.*
    Browns punt it away.

Browns then get two consectutive sacks and the Steelers are looking at a 3rd and 27. A failed fourth down attempt and the browns just run out the clock to go 1-0

Man of the Match goes to MArcus Trufant for two interceptions and 1 TD

    Ben,

Jets and Lions conducted a multiple trade through Free agency but as it included a FB I had to pick up one from FA to conduct the trade. I picked up Nordin, the worst FB in the game, released my FB, Raoul signed him, released his FB, I signed him and then released Nordin back to FA again.

BPrince (Panthers) send me apm when suits you for our Devine / Barden trade

AFC North previews coming today (one at a time), trying to figure out what happened in the draft but can't find list of picks anywhere. And trying to track Mike's trades as Ravens GM is giving me a headache.

    11-5 (4-2 Division)
    AFC North winners
    AFC Championship losers to Colts

    Trades
EAGLES: WR Santonio Holmes & LG TJ Lang ---for--- WR Danario Alexander & LG Steve Hutchinson
BROWNS: 2nd round pick ---for--- QB Cam Newton
BUCCS: 3rd round pick ---for--- TE Travis Beckum
BEARS: DT Seymour & RE Bowen ---for--- DT Jones & RE Starks
TEXANS: QB Cutler, RT Scott, SS Hamlin, C Jackson ---for--- RT Carpenter, C Mack, SS Jarrett

Very active in trade talks all during the offseason. Hutchinson, Carpenter & Mack should improve the O-line greatly, which struggled at times last year. Alexander will need to step up to help replace Holmes, and the team sees promise in him.
Cam Newton looked like he was brought in to backup Jay Cutler and offer a change-of-pace QB with a running threat, possibly for red zone packages. However, in a late pre-draft move Jay Cutler was traded to the Texans for his third team in two years. Cam Newton now takes over as the Bengals QB (third in two years) following in the footsteps of Peyton Manning and Jay Cutler.
The Richard Seymour trade shows that the Bengals are looking to move to a 4-3 as Starks plays a very good DT alongside Jones, and with 4 good LB’s, the Bengals have flexibility on defense.
TE Beckum trade is a bust already, was envisioned as a serviceable backup to Pro Bowler Aaron Hernandez. However a stat drop (71>64) means he likely won’t make it out of camp.

    Notable Player Progressions (Regressions)
    CB Smith 88 (+8)
    WR Alexander 76 (+7)
    LT Gaither 83 (+6)
    QB Newton 83 (+6)
    WR Maclin 92 (+6)
    FS Clark (-9)
SS Chung (-2) – despite being A potential, and on Pro Bowl ballots until the last week
    ROLB Greenway 87 (-3)
    RE Starks 81 (-5)

[TOTAL TEAM PROGRESSION: +48] The Bengals defense was hurt by the progressions, after being a strong point last year.

    Draft
1st Round – TE Hoppes 84 – Bengals GM couldn’t believe he was still on the board at the 29th pick and looks forward to creating a Patriots-type offense with two TE threats
2nd Round (from 49ers) – DT Bullock 76 – solid rotation player with big future
4th Round – WR Watkins 70 – speedy youngster for the future, not expected to contribute this year
*No starters from the draft, but solid depth has been added
