Oh look another "random" person chosen from the audience..

Amazing coincidence in that the random person always sits beside the steps.

They are clearly not random when he has a story about them ready to go.

This embryo prescreening has the potential to be classic LLS discussion. Those women made a good point, its just a few years after special olympics celebrated the achievements of people with disabilities. Its not curing DS, its just preventing people with DS surviving.
Of course, DLB, doesnt do classic LLS discussions, so as he wraps it up...thats a debate for another day. Sure it is Ryan ;)

Its a tough one but then if for example my wife and myself were CF gene carriers, and were offered the chance to get rid of cf from our blood line, I would take it. There is a randomness in whether an embryo will actually get to term in any case regardless of genetic profiling.

While it's certainly a worthy topic, in my opinion it's VERY out of place on a "light entertainment/talk show"

This isn't Prime Time or the Front Line

But it wasnt always Letterman-Lite. Cant be interviewing the proud mother of a newly wedded dog every week. Tsk.

It's horrible when he goes in to the audience. Breaks up the show completely.

Apparently he has made it
    Apparently she has not.

I cant believe he's on the good wife, its a great show

Spot on Lisha. Two completely different debates/stories mish mashed together.

Both debates are really important to those affected by them, but they are not nessacarily linked in the way that DLB was crassly alluding to.
its not light entertainment though, I am all cross now:(

In fairness, the Late Late has always been like that. It's just that Gay Byrne did it better

It might matter to the kids, people should think about their own age when deciding to have kids, how old they will be when the kids are teenagers.
